One swatch was an awesome purple dyed with cochineal, it reminded me of retro backpacking gear purple. I was initially on the fence, but it has grown on me and after reading this piece, I'm convinced! Purple merino jawns coming soon!
Last year I walked into Blue Owl to check out a pair of OrSlow's fatigue pants in black stone that actually gave deep purple tones IRL. Wouldn't have guessed from the images online — another reason to Cop IRL Only.
I'd been struggling to get them to sync up with the rest of my wardrobe for a while until I started throwing browns in the mix and they've become my favorite pants. This article opened my eyes to the colorful possibilities, and I've been emboldened to get freaky with the fits.

Expecting a lot of brown too as I’ve noticed a lot of guys mix up purple and brown at no fault of their own (that y chromosome’s color-blindness be like that sometimes)

My Our Legacy shirt is a 36. Yes, it's really roomy but I love the way the sleeve and back balloon out -- there's a really nice curve to the cut. And when I want to rein in the volume I tuck it in or layer it, like I did in that pic

dark purples go extremely well with browns, as discussed in the sletter, but hadn't considered the colorblindness angle !
