Thoughts on the ACG Air Exploraid as a S.T.R.O.N.G.G. candidate (or, on a somewhat-but-not-entirely separate note, an "Ugly Genius" effect jawn)?

Something about it hasn’t quite clicked for me yet but there’s something to it — and definitely in the S.T.R.O.N.G.G. Universe

I feel like the colorways are not quite there yet, but these sneaks could look sick if they get the colors/materials right

Just recently I've been thinking about how volleyball gear and volleyball in general is primed for larger recognition but that it'd be strange to see any volleyball shoes crossover into more of a lifestyle shoe. Lo and behold BBSP comes through with the Mizuno Bolt feature! i'm curious to see if asics or mizuno pull any volleyball shoes out of their vault while they're digging around for old running silhouettes. Def more niche but there's some fun stuff in their archives.

Sick to see how you nailed this description/trend. It's funny, I've been referring to my Kiko Asics as 'soviet space station sneakers' the last few months.

Greb Laboratory is another one that skews more sleek than crunchy, but fits into those mold https://greglaboratory.com The shirt jackets feel like if errolson designed Prada and the pants feel like if errolson designed studio Nicholson

Feel like these things from LEJ straddle the line between STRONGG and swaggy grandparent on the train energy...

Perhaps I'm suffering a bout of insanity, but I believe the Summit, Endurance, and Reaxion boots from Timberland PRO would make worthy additions to the S.T.R.O.N.G.G. footwear pantheon https://www.timberland.com/en-us/p/timberland-pro/mens-footwear-10171/mens-work-summit-6-composite-toe-waterproof-work-boot-TB1A2262001

If H.R. Giger had designed GORP footwear this feels close to where he'd land
