So glad you gave Lalese Stamps a shout out for her crazy black handled mugs. Another current favorite of mine in the one of a kind mug world is Candice Methe - whose mugs - this is her Duck Butt mug https://www.instagram.com/p/CmDFGFBjTaI/
On ceramics: Hajeong Lee Rogers, longtime partner of Phil Rogers (1951–2020), has just begun making work again after a pause following her partner’s death. Phil Rogers was among the leading North Atlantic exponents of the work of Hamada Shoji sensei and his atelier, and his own work is in the same Mingei vein. Hajeong Lee’s work has a bit more of the … Spyplane vibe.
You’ll pay a bit more than you would for a yunomi chawan from Park Sung Wook — also lovely, and the black iron glaze perhaps better suited to teas with strongly chromatic liquors (artemisa, persimmon, maccha).
There's no G. info on glassworks and I am curious
I LOVE seeing Renilde's pom pom cushions here. I've been admiring them for years.
