So many great sneakers I've never seen before
+ 1 simple trick to make every outfit feel doper, AND sick new summertime SHORTS, PANTS, CAPS & JACKETS from one of our favorite NYC labels
Several summers ago, Erin and I had the “bonne chance” to spend a few days in the French countryside, CHILLING at an old stone summer house belonging to my aunt & uncle in the southerly province of Auvergne… I’ve been going there since I was a Young Spyplane (my mother’s French, baby!!) but this was an especially great trip because it included blissed-out activities such as foraging with my aunt in the d*mn woods for cèpes (a.k.a. porcini) mushrooms, then sautéing them in butter and tossing them in pasta for lunch; copping fresh, extremely unpasteurized milk from a neighboring mother-and-daughter farmer duo whose hospitality was so great that they let all manner of animals walk through their kitchen; filling mad glasses from the enormous boxed wine with built-in spigot my uncle kept on hand (French boxed-wine hits différent); and, before bedtime, drinking mad more glasses of the man’s port next to the fireplace and stepping outside to stare up at the night sky and watch shooting stars in the total absence of light pollution …
Sacré bleu this s**t was vibey.
It was also in these idyllic surroundings that I learned a simple but profound (and entirely free) technique for getting better sleep AND making every outfit you wear feel much more doper.
In today’s sletter we’re saluting that technique… We’ve also got intel on sick new jawns — SHORTS, PANTS, CAPS, JACKETS — dropping today from one of our favorite NYC brands, cut from a beautiful & highly breathable “proprietary Italian-milled fabric” … we are talking summertime sauce distilled !!
PLUS the dopest sneaker-rocker / footwear “inspo king” out, who not only has a dizzyingly good, extremely unique collection (and somehow only 5,000 followers) but also drops HELPFUL I.D.S and sells pairs, too. Top-notch s**t.
