Given that we live and wear shoes in a time of frenetic and fast-moving trend cycles, the reign of Salomons — specifically but not exclusively the XT-6 — has lasted improbably long among Mach 3+ clothes rockers…
This is for good reason… I’m still putting miles & mud on a tan pair of Salomon x And Wander Crosshikes I copped in April 2021, and they show zero sign of failure, in terms of both structural integrity and flyness !
But here at Blackbird Spyplane we’re in the business of “respecting the GOATS” and “staying on the alert for new s**t slapping enough to threaten GOAT supremacy” …
So in today’s sletter not only do we have

I knew it was time to finally highlight these sneakers when I linked up for a trail walk up in Marin the other day with our buddy Moses, a chill & kindvibed photographer with great taste who splits his time between L.A. and Bolinas. Man pulled up rocking an ill pair of these exact IYKYK trail-runners … Shoes that he and a few other “swag-minded outdoor types” that Erin and I know swear by … And which, after bubbling up for the past ~year or so, feel set to truly blow…
